I didn’t come from a family of real estate developers or investors. I started as a young real estate agent at 21 years old, knocking on doors, making calls, and learning the business one conversation at a time. What I noticed early was that a lot of homeowners didn’t need another listing presentation—they needed solutions. Some were dealing with inherited properties, foreclosure, major repairs, difficult tenants, or situations where the traditional real estate process simply wasn’t the right fit. That realization led me to build Better Buyer. What started as a small operation buying and renovating houses grew into a company focused on solving complex real estate problems. Instead of looking at properties the way most people do, we learned to see potential where others saw obstacles. Over the years, that mindset helped us scale from a one-man operation into a business completing roughly 60 projects a year across Connecticut.

We built systems, assembled a team, expanded into rentals and multifamily investments, and created a portfolio that now spans dozens of properties and nearly 100 units. But the mission never changed. Every house has a story. Every seller has a reason.

Our job is to understand both and create solutions that work for everyone involved. Today, Better Buyer is more than a real estate company. The biggest lesson I’ve learned is that success isn’t about a single deal or a single year. It’s about showing up every day, improving your craft, taking calculated risks, and thinking decades ahead. At 30 years old, I’ve been fortunate enough to build a business that many people only dream about. But in many ways, I still feel like that young agent just getting started—because the goal was never simply to buy houses. The goal was to build something that lasts.
